Admission Criteria in D. P. Singh Institute of Education (nursing) includes some admission process and eligibility criteria in the available courses which are disscussed below.

• As per Merit List on the basis of written test & counselling conducted by the Institute. • Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) also recommends students for admission in ANM and GNM course of the institute on the basis of competitive examination organized by the Board. • Criteria for admission is strictly as per guidelines of INC, New Delhi; Bihar Nursing Registration Council and Directorate, Health Services, Govt. of Bihar.
• Higher Secondary /Intermediate pass from any recognized board. • The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on before 31st December of the year of admission & Maximum age for admission 30 years
• 10+2 with minimum 40% marks in aggregate. • The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on before 31st December of the year of admission & Maximum age for admission 35 years
• As per the Joint Entrance Test & Counselling conducted by the affiliating university, Aryabhatta Knowledge University, Patna. • Students, qualified in the Joint Entrance Test, are free to take admission in this institute as per their choice.
• B.Sc. Nursing Course is a 4 year program. • Minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought. • 10+2 class passed with Science (PCB) & English Core/English Elective with aggregate of 45% marks from recognized board
• Minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought. • 10+2 class passed with Science (PCB) & English Core/English Elective with aggregate of 45% marks from any recognized board.
